JinkoSolar has delivered 123MWh of its SunTera liquid cooled energy storage system to Yitong New Energy for a solar-plus-storage project in Zhengye City, Gansu province, the prefabricated cabin systems to be incorporated into an existing solar park for peak shaving and valley filling.
The industry-leading liquid cooling system controls the between-cell temperature difference to within 2 degrees Celsius, resulting in improved consistency and balancing capabilities among battery clusters, slowing life cycle degradation and minimizing safety risks.
Greater heat dissipation performance and temperature balancing capabilities of the battery are enabled by Suntera’s increased number and accuracy of battery PACK temperature sensors and the cooling efficiency of its liquid cooling units.
