BESS to bolster community energy resiliency in Victoria, Australia, with new funding

Western Australia and Victoria’s AusNet have provided financial aid to support battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the energy transition and community energy resiliency.

Australian regulator orders Brookfield to divest assets for Neoen takeover to be approved

Canadian asset manager Brookfield will be required to divest French IPP Neoen’s operational assets and six development projects in Victoria, Australia, which includes the 350MW/450MWh Victoria Big Battery.
