A vote to approve proposals for the European Union’s Batteries Regulation has been welcomed by trade groups.
Domestic and international battery manufacturers have been supported by the European Commission's European Battery Alliance to date, but the latest announcements aim to provide a framework to boost industrial competitiveness and accelerate the EU's energy transition.
