The audience was able to set the agenda, with Energy-Storage.news editor Andy Colthorpe relaying their questions to the panel, whose companies are collectively deploying building gigawatts of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Japan.

We covered the panel discussion on the day itself with a write-up you can read here. The main topics that came up included how the companies ensure the long-term performance of their business models, the future of optimising assets, whether this would be done in-house, and which companies will own most energy storage in the future.

The list of speakers:

  • Dr. Marek Kubik, Director of BESS ENOWA – NEOM
  • Paula Travesso, Managing Director – Gore Street Capital
  • Erik Strømsø, CEO – BW ESS
  • Daniel Burrows, CEO – Eku Energy
